I agree with the recommendation to call the medical equipment company where it came from. It needs to be set properly for safe use.

Not sure but if you have lost the mannual look on the machine there should be a 1-800 number or you can call. Or try your local friendly medical equipment supply (preferrably where ever the unit came from) as they typically have the mannuals.
